The opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Global Organizational Development Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing global programs that enable employees to grow, thrive and contribute to the organization’s success. The Global OD Advisor ensures that Gildan’s workforce is equipped with the skills, resources and opportunities needed to achieve their potential—aligned with organizational objectives and a culture of performance, growth and development.

 

The role


Learning & Development Strategy

  • Contribute to the design and lead the implementation of the global learning and development strategy in alignment with business and talent priorities.
  • Partner with HR, TMBPs and business leaders to understand development needs and translate them into scalable learning solutions.
  • Curate, design, and facilitate learning programs (in-person, virtual, and digital) across leadership, professional, and functional capabilities.
  • Oversee the success of our Global Leadership programs and engage with program graduates on their continued development.

LMS Management & Governance

  • Serve as the global owner of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring adoption, consistency, and data integrity globally, across all regions.
  • Lead change management initiatives related to LMS utilization and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Develop and monitor LMS usage reports to assess engagement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Leverage our LMS to promote internal learning and development.

Career Development & Pathing

  • Design and implement a global career pathing framework to support internal mobility, development planning, and succession readiness.
  • Partner with leaders and HR to embed career development into talent practices and tools.

Talent Analytics & Impact Assessment

  • Use HR and learning analytics to measure the effectiveness and impact of L&D and OD initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide insights into development progress, learning trends, and capability gaps.
  • Compile and report on required global learning data to key internal stakeholders while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Recommend adjustments and improvements based on data insights.
  • Global Organizational Development
  • Support global organizational development initiatives as needed.

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field (Master’s degree an asset).
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent management, learning & development, or organizational development in a global context.
  • Experience designing and delivering scalable learning programs and managing LMS platforms.
  • Experience working in large, matrixed, and multicultural organizations preferred.
  • Strong program management and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and data analysis tools.
  • Collaborative, inclusive mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong language proficiency (English/French)
  • This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
