The opportunity

Reporting to the Director, IT Applications, as Senior Sales Business Analyst, you will be responsible for in-depth business process requirements analysis, business process re-design and translation of business-related requirements into functional specifications that will lead into the configuration and/or development of effective systems solutions. You will also lead and participate in the following activities: testing, preparation of training guides and other supporting documents, training business users, deployment of solutions, as well as post go-live support. This position has a strong IT aspect but is not limited only to IT projects; therefore, the selected candidate may also be involved in the reengineering or design of business processes.

 

The role

  • Conduct end to end enhancements and initiatives with limited management involvement. High quality results
  • Can assist other Business Analyst and act as mentor.
  • Great aptitude to Interact with business users.
  • Expertise in business goes beyond module to facilitate going forward enhancements.
  • Analyze and provide business solutions to support the Order to Cash (O2C) business processes.
  • Perform analysis of business processes, propose procedures and processes to users and oversee implementation of new processes and the documentation
  • Define business requirements for system enhancements and work closely with software development team. Lead test modifications and manage implementation of new functionalities with IT resources and users respecting SDLC and PMO guidelines
  • Documentation of new processes or procedures and training materials as well as delivering training for end users.
  • Participation in implementation projects, which may include external consultants, on JDE or other software deployment projects.
  • Provide daily support of the JD Edwards production systems including investigating and resolving complex user questions related to the sales and pricing
  • Support users in understanding the use of our business application software, JDE (World/E1)

The requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in commerce, Information Technology or equivalent
  • ERP experience (JD Edwards Enterprise One is an asset)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in ERP implementation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
  • Good interpersonal skills and desire to work with a wide variety of people
  • Able to travel 10% of the time outside of Canada
  • This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
