The opportunity

The Business Analyst (IT, Finance) is responsible for in-depth business process requirements analyses, business process re-design and translation of business-related requirements into functional specifications that will lead into the configuration and/or development of effective systems solutions. This position sits in the IT Department, reporting directly to the Manager, IT Applications.

 

The role

  • Analyze and provide business solutions to support the financial aspects of all the core business processes, such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution and Order to Cash.
  • Provide daily support of the JD Edwards production systems including investigating and resolving complex user questions related to the financials.
  • Develop documentation and specifications, lead and/or work within implementation teams, which may include external consultants.
  • Conduct reviews, walkthrough and solution testing to ensure that deliverables are achieved within accepted software development life cycle and Project Management Office guidelines.
  • Conduct training and post-implementation support.

The requirements

•    Bachelor's Degree in information Technology and or Accounting
•    At least 5 years' experience in the analysis and design of corporate systems
•    Excellent problem solving skills.
•    Good interpersonal skills.
•    Good organizational skills.
•    Ability to work independently.
•    Detail oriented.
•    Ability to meet strict deadlines.
