The opportunity

The Finance Analyst - Payroll will support payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions, ensure compliance with local & international tax regulations, and contribute to financial reporting and fixed asset management. This position sits within the Finance Department, reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll & Accounting.

 

The role

  • Process payrolls for multiple jurisdictions on a monthly basis.
  •  Prepare payroll reconciliations for SMD companies.
  • Ensure that statutory deductions are filed in accordance with multiple jurisdictions tax laws.
  • Prepare schedules as required for internal & external audit processes.
  • Prepare and enter daily and monthly journal entries.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and schedules for key balance sheets accounts.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.


The requirements 

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • At least three to five (3-5) years of payroll and accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing for local and international payroll practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
