The EDI IT Support will be responsible for daily validations, monitoring and support of production EDI transactions and resolution of issues. He or she will maintain documentation about known issues and their work arounds while bug fixes and enhancements are worked on.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Analyse incidents assigned to the EDI team resolving level 1 issues and dispatching, if necessary, to insure a resolution.
Identify recurring issues and include in weekly reporting.
Preform daily EDI Validations and resolve any errors that arise.
Monitor EDI System Work closely with EDI and Sales Business Analysts, local IT Teams as well as sales teams in various regions of the world.
Participate in testing when needed.
Provide post-implementation support.
Profile & Core Competencies
3 years experience in relevent filed.
Knowledge of an ERP (JD Edwards E1 or World is an asset)
Ability to handle multiple open support issues in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail oriented and meticulous in completion of tasks.
Strong organizational, and communication skills
Good understand of X12 or EDIFACT EDI Transactions.
Understanding of EDI Mapping, knowledge of Trusted Link Software an asset.
Understanding of AS2 communications, knowledge of BizLink AS2 Software an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work with a wide variety of people.
Written and oral skills in English.
