The opportunity

The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and management functions on customer order file for theNike Account. This position sits within the Sales Department reporting directly to the Manager, Sales Operations.

 

The role

  • Partner with account salesmen to drive sales in order to meet monthly and quarterly budget numbers.
  • Work directly with customers to generate sales orders and pull early shipments where necessary.
  • Collect and analyze sales and inventory data from various systems.
  • Maintain and manage a detailed order file for external customer systems and internal proprietary systems.
  • Prepare and distribute sales and inventory performance reports for company reporting purposes, on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate shipments daily to fulfill shipping requirements.
  • Work with the Development and Production teams when new style or colour set-ups are required to fill orders.

The requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Sales, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in a Sales or Supply Chain environment.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, AS/400, or similar environment preferred.
  • Experience in AS/400, Cognos, and Qlikview would be an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to short deadlines.
  • Must have a sense of urgency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mathematics skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to analyze, manipulate, and apply specific sales related data with strong attention to detail.
