The opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst – Payroll, SMD is required to support payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions, ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, and contribute to financial reporting. The position sits in the Finance Department, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Payroll & Accounting.

 

The role

  • Perform monthly processing of payrolls for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare the annual budget and update the quarterly forecast for the SMD group of companies for payroll and benefits.
  • Prepare and update the monthly payroll worksheets for the SRL expat employees.
  • Assist in the quarterly review of the SRL benefit expense reports to ensure that all relevant expenses are properly coded.
  • Prepare various schedules for the SRL job credit each quarter.
  • Ensure that statutory deductions are filed in accordance with multiple jurisdictions' tax laws.
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations for SMD companies.

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 – 7 (five-seven) years of experience in Payroll & Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing for local and international payroll practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
