The opportunity

The Data Engineer, Supply Chain is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the enterprise data ecosystem that powers Al, analytics, and intelligent chatbot solutions. The role focuses on acquiring and preparing structured and unstructured data, developing semantic views, building scalable data pipelines, and creating Al skills that enable business users to interact with enterprise data through natural language. Working closely with Data Analytics and business stakeholders, the Data Engineer will support the development of agentic Al capabilities across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution while ensuring high-quality, reliable, and governed data assets.

 

The role

 

  • Identify, acquire, prepare, and maintain structured and unstructured datasets from internal and external sources.
  • Design and maintain semantic views, data pipelines, and Al-ready data assets the organization's Snowflake environment.
  • Develop backend reusable Al skills, custom tools, and integrations that extend enterprise Al capabilities.
  • Build scalable ETL/ELT processes and automate data ingestion, transformation, validation, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics and business teams to deliver Al-enabled solutions supporting Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution.       
  • Document technical designs, semantic models, data pipelines, and development standards while contributing to the organization's evolving Al and agentic architecture.
  • Research, prototype, and recommend emerging technologies that enhance enterprise Al capabilities, data architecture, and chatbot functionality.

 

The requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software. Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years in Data Engineering, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
  • Strong SQL or Python programming skills.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake and modern data engineering tools (e.g., dbt).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
